Theater & Drama
We are trying to use the children's own creativity in role play as the basis for the drama activities. The purpose of educational drama includes letting the children develop through dramatic improvisation exercises to be able to express their feelings and their personality both in body and verbally. Through educational drama you practice trust and to dare express and develop your imagination and empathy, all this in order for the individual to achieve social maturity. Through theater & drama the children learn to listen and their concentration and self-confidence is strengthened. We believe that working on aesthetic interpretation a sensual intelligence develops. An aesthetic approach may contribute to a greater understanding of how to distinguish, interpret and consider new expressions. When children have an opportunity to engage in a dramatic enactment of a story, their overall understanding of the story improves.
