At Art Village Nursery, we believe that children are active protagonists in their growth and development.They are protagonists with the right to collaborate and communicate with others and are equipped with the extraordinary potential of constructing their knowledge, competencies, and autonomies. Every child individually and in relation to the group, is a contributor of experiences to which they are capable of attributing sense and meaning. They have the right to be respected and valued in their own identity, uniqueness and differences. We believe that children are not passive receptors of teacher-generated knowledge, but are able to construct knowledge based on their experiences and interactions with others. In our environment, a strong emphasis is placed on seeing the children as unique individuals with rights rather than simply needs!
